Original Notes for Goal Oriented

Disconnected V

Posting Notes

There was a time when I thought this story was going to be a promise I'd never be able to keep. I'm so happy to discover that I was wrong, and that I hadn't lost my love for this series and these characters--just misplaced it somewhere :^)

This is the fifth and final part in the central story arc of my Disconnected universe. Though I may very well write in this universe again, this completes the "Disconnected" story itself.

I strongly recommend that you read the previous four stories before reading this one, as if you don't you may find yourself very confused.

Those stories are, in order: Roller Coaster, In the Rough, Disconnected, and Reconstruction.

Original Summary
Daniel has one final hurdle to overcome.
Warnings
This story is slash, and it contains some fairly graphic scenes of two lovely men enjoying each others' company. It also contains a number of gratuitous demonstrations of great friendship. Oh, and quite a bit of archaeologist-angst ;^) Also a bit of colonel-abuse in this one.
Notes
This story has been a long time coming. The fourth story in this arc was posted in the middle of 2000, and here we are in 2004..

Fond acknowledgement to my beta readers. Thanks so much, Karen and Poss. And my wonderful Mystery Medical Beta checked it out as well. She's still being shy ;^) She knows who she is, and how grateful I am. Without her help, I'd be continually making a fool of myself LOL!
Disclaimer
Stargate SG-1 and its characters are properties of Showtime/Viacom, MGM/UA, Double Secret Productions and Gekko Productions. Much to my sorrow, I think that precludes me claiming either the archaeologist or the colonel. Original characters, situations and story are the property of the author and are not to be appropriated without the permission of the author. This story is intended for entertainment purposes only; no money will be made from it. Trust me. No money.
