The List Banner

More Than the Sum: The title comes from the notion that "the total is more than the sum of the parts."
From Diversity..Strength: Four very different people form a uniquely powerful team.
The Family You Choose: Each of us is gifted with two families; One is the family we are born with; the other is the family we choose. Conceptually, this may be my very favorite wallpaper.
Go The Distance: My 100th Stargate wallpaper. I tried to highlight some of the changes that our guys have experienced.
Cast Your Fate to the Stars: These images are actually from A Hundred Days, but the theme is much more general. The title says it all, though the guys are actually casting their fates to the moon LOL!
Our Heroes!: A bit tongue in cheek ;^) My favorites are Prissy Jack and Daniel the Dork.
SG-1: I created a Stargate calendar for the year 2002, and this was my December page. The background is a Hubble image of Stephan's Quintet.
Team: Another page from my calendar. This was September, honoring some of my favorite team moments.
Gold Standard: I love this wallpaper, but its origin came from sad circumstances, as did several of the upcoming wallpapers. The notion that Daniel could be replaced on SG-1--and the repulsive nature of the thing they thought could replace him--inspired me to create an expression of my feelings about the nature of SG-1.
At the Heart of Us (in two versions): I made three wallpapers at the request of the Save Daniel Jackson campaign, and this is one of them. This honors the special place of Daniel on his team. There are two versions because I couldn't decide whether I preferred the plain background or the patterned one, so you can have it either way LOL!
Welcome Back SG-1: Some campaigns have happy outcomes. Daniel, and thus the true, complete SG-1, will be back. This is a companion to the "Welcome Back Daniel" wallpaper.
First Team: As a Christmas gift for some special Stargate buddies, I designed two wallpapers highlighting what I consider to be the two most important facets of this fine program. Here's the first: The Team. The Team. Jack, Daniel, Sam and Teal'c. Thus "first" in the title means first in significance, not first in existence. The companion to this wallpaper is "J-D Moments," which is in the Themes: Character section of the site.
Colonel Jack O’Neill: This is one of my earliest SG-1 wallpapers. It's Jack's basic character wallpaper.
Not a Lot of Purple Dogs: The title comes from the end of Learning Curve. This is Jack and the kids.
Ya Think? Jack shows us his lovely sarcastic side.
Worth a Thousand Words: Smilin’ Jack.
Oh, F'r Cryin' Out Loud!: Okay, here's our fearless leader in some of his "arse over teakettle" moments (as our British buddies might say LOL!). And some folks think Daniel gets into a lot of hot spots!
Silver Fox : Several of my good net friends have been calling our colonel by a name particularly appropriate to his third and fourth season selves, and it's just too good to leave alone.
Ah, Leather: This one is for Paula, but I'm sure she'll be delighted to share her Colonel with the rest of you Jackophiles. You see, there's this jacket he wears... Enjoy! And Happy Birthday Paula.
Jack: From my 2002 Stargate calendar, Jack's page
Spit 'n' Polish: Our colonel cleans up very well.
Other Jack wallpapers: Old Battles (Season 2, Gamekeeper); Warrior’s Heart (Season 3, Hundred Days); Here No Bull Can Hide (with guest by Daniel: Season 3, Maternal Instinct); Nemesis (Season 3); Fifth Race background (Themes-graphic); Doorway to Heaven (Themes-graphic), Bite Me! (Season 3, New Ground), Official Secrets (Season Two, Secrets);
Doctor Daniel Jackson: Daniel’s basic character wallpaper, including his name in hieroglyphs. This was probably the second SG wallpaper I made. The first was "Children of the Gods," which I made a full year before I ever saw an episode.
Daniel In Distress: The first of a pair LOL! I had so much material I couldn’t do it in one. This highlights Daniel in emotional distress. Its more physical partner is "Peaceful Explorer" below.
Watch Out, Danny! Daniel and his femme fatales--Hathor and Shyla. Remind me some day to tell you the story of this background.
Peaceful Explorer: This is the followup to Daniel In Distress. Daniel in physical distress. Six pictures, and his eyes are open in only two LOL!
Doctor of Archaeology! Daniel at work. I'm fascinated by Daniel's intellectual achievements, and this is one of several archaeologically themed wallpapers.
Life Lesson #14: What if it Sticks? Daniel in one of his characteristic modes--with his tongue out ;^) Guest appearance by some stray Air Force colonel.
Life Lesson #19: Catchin’ Flies! Daniel in another of his characteristic modes--with his mouth hanging open. How can he look so adorable while he’s doing that?
Kitten With Claws: The hidden tiger in our gentle scientist. He showed this side way back in the movie. He may have become a better soldier over the years, but he's had a dragon within right from the start.
Life Lesson #9 Java: Oh, Daniel. About those addictions...
Just Plain Beautiful: This piece of Eye Candy was created as a birthday present for Brenda Anders, Stargate buddy extraordinaire. It is also fortuitously a tribute for Dr. Daniel Jackson's 35th birthday. Happy Birthday to both of you ;^)
Boonie: This wallpaper wins the uncontested prize for having the most usable material :^D My first cull of good quality images yielded 104 shots, from more than a dozen different episodes, of Daniel in his funny, adorable little hat. We've seen boonie hats a lot--Sam wears one occasionally; Jack has worn one twice (both times before we ever saw it on Daniel). But Daniel shows by far the greatest affection for this style of chapeau. I think it likes him, too LOL!
Michael Shanks: This is definitely not Daniel. It's Michael Shanks. Most of you will have seen this lovely publicity photo--I really had to do something with it. I wish I could get better color--I just can't get rid of that magenta blush--but even a bit pink in the face, he's one lovely creature.
Working Man : This one is yet another homage to my favorite archaeologist. The idea's been sitting in the file for a while, waiting for me to get some nice juicy material to flesh it out. This wallpaper is actually the second time I've played with this theme. And I'm very happy with this one!
Linguist: We all know that communication is Daniel's most brilliant talent. But his avenues for conveying information go beyond what he does with that lovely mouth. Here's his second most significant means of communication.
Two Faces of Daniel: Daniel merited two pages in my 2002 calendar. This was the first--February. This could be called "Before and After," I guess.
Daniel: November was Daniel's month in my 2002 calendar.
Danny Scarfhead: The title says it LOL! Besides his boonie, Daniel's favorite headgear is a bandana. A few fans appreciate this look as well.
Welcome Back Daniel: This is one of a pair of wallpapers made in celebration of the announcement that Daniel Jackson, and thus the real SG-1, would be returning for Stargate SG-1's seventh season. The companion, Welcome Back SG-1, can be found on the Characters: Team page.
Evolution: Evolution is one of the three wallpapers I created for the Save Daniel Jackson campaign. This is my personal favorite of the three. Here we see the growth of our archaeologist through spotlighting some key moments in his life. The background is derived from a HST image.
Other Daniel Wallpapers: A Different World (Season 2, Prisoners); Early Losses (Season 2, Gamekeeper); The Man Who Would Be King (Season 2, Need); Secrets: Daniel and Sha’uri (Season 2); A Day’s Rations (Season 3, Deadman Switch); Wh...what? (Season 3, Deadman Switch); Beyond My Control (Season 3, Legacy); Keep Me In Your Dreams (Season 3, Forever In A Day); Between Darkness and Light (Season 3, Past and Present); Letting Go (Season 3; Maternal Instinct); Grampa (Season 3, Crystal Skull); Oh, Yeah, By the Way... (Season 3, Crystal Skull); Warriors: Some Are Made (Themes-Character); Moments (with guest by Skaara, Themes-Character); Seeker (Themes-Graphic); Archaeologist (Themes-Graphic); Measure of a Man (Season 2, Serpent’s Song)Nemesis (Season 3); Beyond the Call (Season 3, New Ground); Unbearable Secrets (Season 2, Secrets); Did I Miss Something...? (WOO); Destiny (Themes-Graphic).
Captain Doctor: Sam in her two personas: scientist and soldier.
Is That You, Sam? Sam... or is it?
Captain Samantha Carter: Sam’s first basic character wallpaper. Guess I’d better do a Major Sam wallpaper.
Hail, Dorothy! Sam in aggressive mode.
Major Samantha Carter: She's no longer a Captain, so she deserves a new character wallpaper.
Alone (Solitudes): This is January from my 2002 Stargate calendar. I've always loved that gorgeous view of Sam, and here she's superimposed over her bete noire from this episode--the Antarctic Gate.
Sam: Sam's month in the 2002 calendar was October. Here's her page.
Other Sam Wallpapers: On the Rack (Season 3, Jolinar’s Memory); First Person-Sam (Season 1, Singularity); Nemesis Sam (Season 3); Family Secrets (Season 2, Family Secrets)
Teal’c: Here's the big guy's basic character wallpaper.
Tal Sha’ka Mel!: Teal’c at his most noble. The phrase means "I die free!"
Speak Softly and Carry a Big Stick! Two sides of the Big Guy. Yes, I know I bent the quotation a bit ;^) Call it artistic license.
What Is An Oprah? I used my favorite Teal’c line as the title for a wallpaper featuring Teal’c’s sometimes confused introductions to human culture.
Master Teal'c: I just love these images of Teal'c. This is his page from the 2002 calendar.
Other Teal’c Wallpapers: Nemesis Teal’c (Season 3, Nemesis), JaffaJoke (Season 3, Seth); "(Even *Very* Good) Boys Will Be Boys."(WOO).
Abydos (Season 1, Children of the Gods); The Fifth Race (Season 2); Life Lesson #32 (Season 2, One False Step); Partners (Season 3, Deadman Switch); Strength and Wisdom (Season 3, Pretense); Woof?! (Season 3; Urgo); Forged In Fire (Themes-Character); Hands Off! (Themes-Character); Oh, Mirror! (Themes-Character); Brothers In Arms (Themes-Character), Lean On Me (Season 2, Fifth Race), Steps: The Beginning (Themes-Character), Incident in a Store Room (Season 2 Secrets), Step by Step (Themes-Character), Beyond Price (Season 3, Shades of Grey); Us, Alone (Themes-Characters); Contact (Themes-Characters); JackDaniel-Connection (Theme-Characters); Solid Foundation (Themes-Characters), J-D Moments (Themes-Characters).
Beyond the Edge (Season 1; Solitudes)
Warriors: Some Are Born (Themes-Character); Nemesis (Season 3); No Consequences (Season 4, WOO);
Duality: Skaara and Klorel.
Never Forgotten: A wallpaper for those lost. Sha’uri, Kowalski, Daniel’s parents and a lovely Charlie.
Gen. George Hammond: A wallpaper featuring multiple facets of our commanding officer.
Doctor Janet Fraiser: Janet doing her doctor thing, including one of the loveliest images I’ve seen of her.
Schmucks! Some of the nastiest crawly things our guys have encountered are right here on Terra Firma.
Goa’uld: Four of our favorite snake heads--Ra, Apophis, Hathor, and Seth.
